VICTORIA DAY FIREWORKS DISPLAY THE place to watch the fireworks, on a wide expanse of beach!
Monday, May 24, 2010 at 9:30 p.m. but come MUCH earlier!!
Why come early? To stroll, shop and enjoy the eats and drinks of The Beach.
Fireworks are at Ashbridge's Bay; take the TTC and avoid the traffic or the long search for a parking spot.
Take the Queen streetcar east to Coxwell or Woodbine or the subway to the same and then any bus going south. Definitely forget the car; the TTC IS the better way.
Beach blankets and beach chairs are a great idea!
POLICE WEEK COMMUNITY FAIR and BBQ
Annual community event for people to get to know the officers of 55 Division and for the officers to get to know YOU!
May 26 from 4-8 p.m.
BBQ tickets for only $2 include a hot dog, beverage and loot bag.
Most activities are free such as face painting, henna hand tattoos, mini-train ride, bingo.
Pay-what-you can for jumping castles, rock climbing wall and more.

Come to the Beach the easy way; take the TTC right to the start of the tour, at Queen and Lee. Just take the Queen East streetcar to Lee or take the subway to Woodbine and the Woodbine south bus and transfer to the Queen car or walk a few blocks east.
