Winners in the "Jazz Up Your Window" contest 2009
The following Beach businesses on Queen Street East were judged to have the best decorated windows for the Beaches International Jazz Festival. The judges based their selection on the following three criteria: Imagination, professional execution and integration of elements of jazz/music

1st place: Sweetings - an Italian design clothing store for women at 1920 Queen St. E. They'll be winning a half-day spa package at Totto Spa and Salon, prize certificates from Beaches Jazz and the BIA, back stage lunch at Beaches Jazz Festival in 2010 and editorial mention in Beach Metro Community News.

2nd place Dufflet Pastries at 1917 Queen St. E who wins a Free Basic Individual Will (value of $375) from Glover and Associates and certificates from Beaches Jazz and the BIA.

3rd place is Yoshi's Sweets at 2357 Queen St. E. who wins a $50 gift certificate from Vernissage Jewellery and the two certificates.

4th place is Oxford Learning at 2191 Queen St. E. who wins the two certificates.
