Jazz Up Your Window Winners - 2010
Several dozen Beach BIA merchants along Queen East showed great creativity in incorporating elements of music into their window display for this years Jazz Up Your Window competition, as part of the Beaches International Jazz Festival. Judges from the BIA Board found the following to be amongst the best.
Winners:
1. Seagull Classics at 1974 Queen E.
2. Dufflet Pastries at 1917 Queen E.
3. Sweetings at 1920 Queen E.
4. Mendocino at 2020 Queen E.
The first-place winner won a backstage pass at the festival that included choice seating and lunch from the Jazz Festival plus a deluxe gift basket from Pippins Tea, courtesy of the Beach BIA and Pippins Tea. All other winners received honourary certificates to post in their stores.
